Every year Ford partners with universities across the Southeast to celebrate the great tradition of college football. In 2019 we had the opportunity to work with the University of Georgia, Auburn University, University of Tennessee and University of Alabama. Our team spent two weeks traveling to five locations to bring these spots to life. This was my first commercial shoot and I could not have had more fun art directing, working with a fabulous team of people and eating copious amounts of BBQ.

 

Digital assets were created and ran in conjunction with the commercials. We were able to feature head coaches from two of the universities, and highlighted the F-150 for the schools that did not have coach involvement.

 

A kit of point of purchase print assets that were sent out to Ford Dealers including hang tags to be hung from the rearview mirror of trucks on the dealership floor.

An unexpected and fun additional element of this project that I was responsible for was designing the fake license plates that we use on the picture vehicles. I love illustration, so this was a quirky and exciting side project before the shoot. My family’s initials and birthdays are all represented.
